On June 2, we will hold our first annual Pop Around The Clock.
This will be two Brevet Populaires, each about 100 miles long. These are separate events. You may ride either one or both.
The first one will begin at 07:00 on Saturday morning. It will begin in Marion, at the clock tower, and will proceed to Woodlawn and back. Because this is a daytime event, no lights or reflective gear will be required - HOWEVER, DURING RAIN, RUSA RULES FOR RIDERS REQUIRES LIGHTS AND REFLECTIVE GEAR. COME PREPARED IF RAIN IS FORECAST.
The second one will begin at 17:00 on Saturday afternoon. It will begin in Marion, at the clock tower, and will proceed to Metropolis and back. You will need lights and reflective gear according to RUSA rules.
There will be a picnic with food and beer (or soda) on Miles Stoneman's lawn in between events. You must be pre-registered for these events by May 27th so that Miles can plan accordingly. The picnic is free to members.
