Little Egypt Randonneurs is a group formed to promote randonneuring in Southern Illinois. Although membership in RUSA is not required, many of the riders will be members of RUSA. Anyone interested in long distance cycling is welcome to ride with us.
Brevets are organized rides which are ridden on a specific day at a specific time. These are open to anyone regardless of membership in RUSA or any cycling club. They may be from 100 - 199 kilometers (Brevet Populaires) or they will be 200 kilometers, 300 kilometers, 400 kilometers and 600 kilometers in length.
Brevets are considered club rides - there is no per-brevet fee. You must be a Little Egypt Randonneurs member to ride our brevets. Membership dues are $20.00 annually - effective January 1 through December 31. Dues paid after October 31 of any year will be credited toward the balance of the current year as well as the entire next calendar year.
